have a frank talk with your child based on his/her actual performance vis-a-vis your expectation. Please, do not accept any excuse for non-performance from your ward. Place a demand on him/her.
PROMOTION POLICY
This is to remind parents/guardians that the College promotion policy still stands. The following are the criteria for promotion: (a) an average of 65% and above in the Junior School; and (b) an average of 60% and above in the Senior School.
(a) 65% and above in core subjects including Mathematics and English Language in the Junior School (b) 60% and above in 6 core subjects including Mathematics and English Language in the Senior School.
Promotion to the next class is also cumulatively determined, taking into consideration performance in first, second and third terms.
Parents are advised to discuss this with their wards so that they do not wait till the tail end of the third term to launch a panicky reading spurt.
